In December 2021, the cloud-based timekeeping software, Kronos, suffered a global ransomware attack which resulted in several weeks of outage. This led to a disruption in payroll services. To ensure that our hourly employees were paid without any disturbance to their income during the holiday season, our developers were tasked with creating a temporary software system. I, along with one other member of the IS team, were responsible for rolling out this new process and training all of our divisions across the United States. I played a significant role in creating a PowerPoint presentation, a facilitator guide, invitation template, and a job aid to equip our operations teams with the necessary tools to understand and implement the new process. Unfortunately, I am unable to share these documents due to branding restrictions and not owning the rights to them. Take a look at the article that I shared on the front page of my website.
As a team member of the Implementation Specialists, my role involves reviewing all the new training modules that our team is responsible for presenting. I work diligently to ensure that there are no missing pieces in the documents, so that our team can train our co-workers seamlessly. Additionally, I am part of the Documents Team, which is responsible for maintaining all our documents and ensuring that they are organized in a user-friendly manner. I also archive documents that are no longer needed to ensure privacy and anonymity.
Our team was responsible for training a newly acquired company on how to use a new software instead of their legacy software. To support both the new users and trainers of the advanced software, I personally took on the task of creating an 8-page Job Aid. This included detailed step-by-step instructions on how to create processes, as well as links to the modules and some helpful tips and tricks. Although I was not officially assigned to this task, I felt compelled to provide this valuable resource. As a result, the management team recognized the need to create job aids and demo recordings for 30+ modules.
